Foyle Food Group Operations Manager Foyle Ingredient’s OM/FI/01/15 The Foyle Food Group requires an Operations Manager to manage all aspects of the Foyle Ingredient’s production unit based at the Foyle Omagh site on the outskirts of Omagh. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing plant in the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the Foyle Ingredients site including – production, strategy, technical, staffing and training, KPI’s, health & safety, consumables / packaging, external audits and the development of the customer base. With proven leadership skills you will be accountable for motivating staff to operate effectively and efficiently producing hi-spec products on time every time. Essential Criteria: · · · · · · · · · A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a red meat production environment 3rd level education or equivalent industry standard qualifications An in-depth working knowledge off product specification / production processes Proven track record of strong leadership skills and staff motivation Have the ability to make effective and prompt decisions within a pressurised environment Excellent planning, organising and communication skills Be self-motivated, confident and show drive, enthusiasm and initiate Working knowledge of applicable health, safety and technical standards Experience in product development and customer interface Desirable Criteria: · · Previous managerial experience Working knowledge of further processed red meat production The Company reserves the right to extend the criteria to facilitate shortlisting.
