Action needed to defeat it in the Senate. “Yesterday, the NJ Assembly passed A2270, the NJ Physician Assisted Suicide bill by only one vote. The vote tally was 41– 31. Although it is disappointing that the bill passed the Assembly, we should not be discouraged because our message is getting heard! Now that this bill has passed the Assembly, it will be referred to the State Senate. PLEASE take the time to do the following. This is CRITICAL! 1. View the vote tally to see how your two Assembly members voted. View the tally, then call and email both Assembly members. Thank those who voted No on A2270. If your Assembly Member(s) voted yes on the bill, please call them to let them know that you have taken note of the vote an that you are strongly displeased with their vote to legalize this heinous practice in our state. 2. Contact your State Senator and urge him or her to Vote No on A2270. If you don’t know who your State Senator is, you can call the Office of Legislative Services at 1-800-792-8630 during regular hours and provide your town and county and they will provide you with the name of your State Senator. You can also go to the NJ Legislature’s webpage and look up your State Senator by municipality. The link to the page is here: http:// www.njleg.state.nj.us/members/legsearch.asp 3. Please call and email Governor Christie and urge him to veto A2270 if it reaches his desk. Governor Christie: 609-292-6000 Email: http://www.state.nj.us/governor/contact/ Use “health” for the topic. Adwent to znaczy: przyjście, przyjście Boga do człowieka. Bóg wychodzi nam naprzeciw: daje nam teraźniejszość, czas obecny jako czas łaski, jako drogę w przyszłość. "Ja jestem drogą" - mówi Jezus, Wcielony Bóg, który wszedł w naszą rzeczywistość. Adwent nawołuje nas do czujności: "Uważajcie i czuwajcie, bo nie wiecie, kiedy czas ten nadejdzie" - głosi dzisiejsza Ewangelia. Czuwać to znaczy: widzieć jasno rzeczywistość, w której żyjemy i rzeczywistość, ku której zmierzamy. Ale On dał nam serce zdolne Go szukać i znaleźć. Nowenna do Sw. Jana Pawla II. Zapraszamy. Szczęść Wam Boże Ks.
