Free Tuition Free tuition is available on Skills for Life (Maths and English) and other selected courses. 24+ Advanced Learning Loans The 24+ Advanced Learning loan is designed for individuals who wish to study for a Level 3 or Level 4 course. Individuals must be aged 24 and over to qualify for the loan and must have an offer letter from their College or training provider for your chosen course(s) before you can apply for the loan. Once approved, the loan will be paid to the College on your behalf towards your course fees. Who is eligible? Anyone who is: • Aged24oroveratthestartoftheir course (there is no upper age limit) • ResidentintheUKonthefirstdayof the course and has lived in the UK, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man for 3 years immediately before this • Hasnotpreviouslyhadaloantodo the same qualification type and level of qualification What does this mean for you? You don’t pay anything up front for your course. Youcanapplyforupto100%ofthefull course fee. If you are earning less than £21,000 per annum, you don’t pay anything back. Above this repayments are from as little as £7 per month. No repayments due until April 2016 If your loan is for an Access to HE programme and you progress and complete HE study, you will not have to pay back your FE loan. How do I apply?
