Knit and Natter –
‘Not Just Knitting’
A fun and interactive morning. Knitting,
felting, rag rugs, patchwork, period
pleating and other textile crafts. Bring
your own project to work on, share your
skills with others and learn new ones.
Regular demonstrations by experts in
different crafts.

‘Arty Kids’ Children’s Art
Mosaics and More
Boys and Girls, 5 - 15 years. Exciting,
creative and developmental programs.
For beginners wanting to learn the
basics of mosaics, this course will give
you the basic skills and techniques that
are the foundation for all other mosaic
styles. You will complete a flat ceramic
mosaic, approximately 30 cm square
or round. Classes are relaxed, with a
combination of theory and practical
interspersed throughout the course.
Saturdays during school terms:
9 – 10 am, 10.30 – 11.30 am
and 12.30 – 1.30 pm
Term 1, 2013 commences 2 February.
Cost $17 per class, payable in
advance by term.

Evening Watercolours
What is watercolour and how does it work?
This course is for students who wish to
experience the different methods and
techniques of watercolour and how to
use them. Lessons will explore “wet in
wet”, layering of colours, mixed media,
pen and watercolour, as well as colour
properties, opaque, stains, etc.

This program is run by two artists,
Jennifer Gunson and Marie Long, who
draw on their combined experiences and
studies in the use of art as a medium
for personal development. An enjoyable
program is offered, and is specifically
designed to bring creativity to beginners.
Past participants are welcome to continue.
The four week program will bring a new
experience each week.
The fee covers materials provided, with
extra available for purchase during the
sessions.
This course uses alternative art methods
to bring out the artist within.
