All relatives have spats at Christmas. However, for this particularly social climbing
family the unwelcome news that one of their own is in a relationship with a
happy-go-lucky ‘lowlife’ is just too much to bear! Who would have thought a
random message in a Christmas card would have caused such offence?
Sparks fly and it is not long before our Inspector needs your help to solve a grisly
Christmas murder... Join us for a lively evening of intrigue and fun as your table tests
its detective skills to this most foul of festive events!

New Years Eve
Say goodbye to 2014 and welcome in 2015 in style at our Masquerade Ball.
Arrival from 7pm with Canapés and Bucks Fizz to start the evening.
Chef’s 5 course dinner will be served at 7.30pm followed by our Resident DJ in The Haddon Room until 1am.
There will be a pianist in The Oak Bar throughout the evening for your enjoyment and a Piper to see in the New Year!
Dress Code: Black Tie & Masks, this is an adult only event.

Christmas 3 Day Package
Arrive in the afternoon on Christmas Eve and relax with
Afternoon Tea. Guests can gather in The Oak Bar for mulled
wine & canapés before a 3 course dinner. Midnight Mass
is available in St. Wilfrid’s Church ( 3 minute walk).
Christmas Day
Breakfast followed by a stroll in the gardens & woodlands.
Luncheon will be served between 12noon and 3pm. Afternoon tea and Christmas
cake will accompany The Queens Speech. In the evening enjoy Chef’s buffet selection.
Boxing Day
Boxing Day starts with breakfast followed by a day to go shopping, exploring the local
area or just relaxing by the fire. For Dinner, chef will provide a 3 course dinner menu
followed by a festive quiz in The Rutland Bar.

Terms & Conditions
Provisional bookings must be confirmed within 14 days of booking by paying a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit.
Failure to pay the deposit will result in the booking being released.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If numbers reduce after paying the deposit, the deposit cannot be
used to pay any of the outstanding balance of the event cost.
Full prepayment of all events is required no later than November 30th 2014
We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements BUT we do require at least 7 days notice.
We reserve the right to cancel any event should a minimum number not be reached. Alternative dates or a full refund
will be offered in this circumstance.
The management reserves the right to refuse entry to the hotel. We also reserve the right to charge the organiser,
company or individual for any damages caused by unreasonable behaviour.
NO food or drink may be brought into the hotel or grounds by guests. We reserve the right to confiscate items.
