HOW DO I...?
REFINE RESULTS USING FILTERS
This quick guide highlights how to manage your search results on the results screen using the Refine Search options.
1. After conducting a search, results are displayed in a list format by default. In the top left corner of the page, under Report Type,
you will find the total number of regulatory reports retrieved that contain the searched terms. If you also subscribe to other
Cortellis content sets you will be able to view other report types, such as drugs and companies.

2. Applying Filters assists you in refining results and finding more relevant information. Filter categories correspond to fields found
in the Snapshot of regulatory reports. The following filter options are available in the left panel on the results screen: Country/
Region, Language(s), Document Categories, Document Type, Regulatory Version, Status, and Date.
Filters appear collapsed by default. The only exception is Country/Region. By clicking on the arrows you can expand and collapse
the filters as needed. If you would like to filter down by a document type, for instance, click the arrow next to Document Type to
expand the filter.
The top 3 filter options will be visible, meaning those most often represented in the results list. The number of
results you can expect is indicated in brackets next to each choice.
If the filter of interest is among the top 3, click this filter to apply it, e.g. Guideline.
The filter indicator will turn green, and the results will be refreshed.
To check for additional filters use the Choose More link.
