Winter Wear
Kindness Curriculum
December’s kindness curriculum centered
around the story “Why Christmas Tree’s
Aren’t Perfect?”. The little tree that helps a
rabbit, a deer, and a bird is no longer
perfect. The queen recognizes his kindness
and selects him as the special tree to be in
the kingdom. The children made a bird
feeder to be kind to the feathered friends
living outside this winter.
During the winter
months, we stay
inside unless there is
an unusually warm
day!
As you dress your little one in the morning,
remember we will be helping many little ones
at the end of the day! We try to gage
enough time to dismiss at our regular time,
but sometimes a stuck zipper or missing
mitten may delay us a few minutes!
Valentine’s Day Cards
If you are ‘ahead’ of the
game and addressing
classroom Valentine
cards— please only have
your child sign his or her
name. Please do not
individually name with
classmates names. This
takes too long to pass out!
