iv. Opening tender documents
This
invitation
for
tender
is
open
to all eligible tenderers as mentioned below:
Eligibility
(a) Reputed Contractors/Construction firms who have minimum 5 (five) years of general experience in Building
of
Construction works, counting backward from the date of tender publication in newspaper.
tenderers (b) Having experience in successful completion / execution of at least 1(one) number of similar nature of building
construction work including Sanitary and Electrification works worth not less than Tk. 140 (one hundred fourty) Lac
only in a single work order during last 5(five) years.
i) In case of work done under any PWD Division the certifying & authentication authority shall be the concerned
Executive Engineer under whom the work has been executed.
ii) In case of work done under any Government/ Semi-Government/Autonomous Organization of Bangladesh other
than PWD the certifying & authenticating authority shall be the officer of the organization not below the rank of
Executive Engineer.
(c) The tenderer shall have a minimum average annual construction turn over during last 5(five) years amounting of
Tk. 250 (two hundred fifty) Lac only, counting backward from the date of publication of tender in newspaper.
d) The minimum amount of liquid assets i.e working capital or credit line(s) of the Tenderers shall be Tk. 90 (ninety)
Lac in the Form of PW3-7.
e) Up-to-date Trade license, Income Tax Clearance and VAT Registration certificate,
f) Up-to-date ABC category contractor and supervisory license from Electricity Licening board, Government of
Bangladesh.
g) In case of JVC/ JVCA and other required eligibility and conditions of the tenderers are shown in Tender Data Sheet of
tender documents.

17. Special Instructions:i) This Tender notice is available in PWD Website www.pwd.gov.bd and CPTU Website www.cptu.gov.bd respectively.
ii) The tender security shall in the form of a Bank draft or Pay order or Bank Guarantee issued by a scheduled bank of Bangladesh.
iii) If necessary items wise analysis may be asked from the tenderer.
iv) All necessary documents must be attested by 1st class gazetted officers (with name & destination)
v) Modification in the form of % (percent) basis on quoted amount shall not be accepted.
vi) The amount of Performance Security shall be 5% - 10% (Five to ten percent) of the Contract Price. Maximum 25%(Twenty five percent) of
the total Contract price, if it is unbalanced and/or front loaded.
vii) The procuring entity reserves the right to reject all tenders of annul the tender proceedings.
