New Garden Quarter Quarterly Meeting will meet Sunday, January 11 at 3:00 p.m. at New Garden Friends Meeting. Allie Corcoran will do a presentation on her Quaker Pilgrimage to Bolivia and Peru last summer. A light meal will be served about 4:30 p.m. Please come and support both Allie and the Quarter. Please bring your filled bags to the connector in the meetinghouse by Christmas Eve. Greensboro is ranked number two for food insecurity in the nation and hunger is a daily reality for some of our fellow residents. Socks for Children Spending the Holidays in the Guilford County Detention Center New and clean, gently used socks are needed to help children (14-17 years old) know they are remembered during the holidays. Currently there are 17 males and four females. Two of the males wear size 14 shoes. Other juveniles wear standard adult size socks sizes 9 - 12.
