Easy Grub Healthy Bub
is a cookbook by a local
Sunshine Coast Mum
about making healthy
eating for children quick
and easy.
If your thinking that 2015 is your year to both give and receive the
most precious resources of all - time and energy, we would love to
hear from you. The community centre has some specific volunteer
vacancies, (see below) and more generally we are always open for
providing support for people who wish to share their skills with other
community members. We can provide a space, organisational support and some training, so call Donna or Mark on 5441 4724 to talk
about the specific roles, or any other volunteer ideas you might have.

computers available for community member access between 9-2.30pm. The computer use is free of charge and can be
booked for a maximum of 2 hours. Bookings can be made by contacting the office.

Nambour Good Beginnings - Family Support Program
We provide home based visits as well as centre based activities for families & groups
of parents. We also run occasional workshops & info sessions on parenting, communication & related areas. If you’re interested call one of the family support workers on
5476 4933. Likewise if you would like to contribute as a volunteer we would love to
hear from you.
Community Development Program
We can support local individuals & groups to develop their initiatives by;

Cultural Connections - Multicultural Community Development
Cultural Connections is a community development program for people from diverse
cultural backgrounds. The program can support migrants to meet people, improve

Migrant Settlement Program
The Migrant Settlement Program in Nambour aims to support, connect, and integrate
family stream, refugee and humanitarian migrants who have arrived in Australia in the
previous 5 years into their new community. The program offers information, referral,
advocacy and support in the areas of housing, health, education, relationships, family
violence, transport, job seeking and linkage to government services.

Having Financial Difficulties?
Sunshine Coast Open Forum
You are invited to come together to speak and hear the
different voices between those wanting a mosque in
Maroochydore and those who don’t, and any position in
between. This forum is open to everyone, from all walks of
life and holding diverse viewpoints. This will be an interactive forum, and the facilitators will do their utmost to respect and protect everyone, regardless of their viewpoint.
We need all voices, dreams, feelings, hopes and visions,
frustrations and commitment in order to create safer communities.
