Two warm up areas are available outside the main arena, one near the stables and the other near the rodeo grounds. Persons requiring horse accommodation should apply early and advise what type is required, $5 yard and stable fee per day. Booking for stables is on line through www.globalentriesonline.com.au Yards and stables to be mucked out before departure. Failure to do so will halt future allocations. All reserved horse stalls to be occupied by 5p.m. Friday. Unless late arrival notified stalls may be allotted to other horses. All prize money and trophies to be collected from the Secretary’s office. First prize $5 and ribbon, 2nd $2 and ribbon, 3rd ribbon, unless otherwise stated. Three entries or less, no second prize. All hacks to be over 15 hands, galloways 14 to 15 hands, ponies under 14 hands. Entries in breed classes (Australian Stock Horses, Riding Ponies, etc.) must produce registration papers on request or risk disqualification. A novice is not to have won first prize in an open hack, galloway or pony class at an agricultural show. All riders must wear approved EFA helmets in all classes. Horses must either compete in the show hunter or open ring, they may not compete in both. Colts/Stallions may not be shown by exhibitor under 18 years, and if colt/stallion is over two years must be shown in a bit and must be secured with a neck collar when tied up. No ring will be held for competitors – unless for championships.
