STUDENT PROGRAMME &
SAUDIZATION
All IES exhibitions include the “Student Programme”
which supports the Kingdom’s Saudization plan. Now
in its 4th year, the programme aims to boost the number of Saudis working in the industrial and technical
sectors, by encouraging and developing local students
who are given direct access to key industry leaders and
experts. Participation in the Programme provides students with great opportunities to network and establish contacts for their future, through the MTE 2015 exhibition.
The Student Programme is organized with the support
of two universities, King Fahd University of Petroleum &
Minerals (KFUPM) and the University of Dammam, who
send a group of senior students each year.
DHAHRAN INTERNATIONAL
EXHIBITION CENTER
MTE 2015 will take place at the Dhahran International Exhibitions Center located in the eastern province
in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Dammam; An hour
drive from Kuwait, Bahrain, and 30 - 45 minutes flight
from U.A.E. and Qatar. The center is the most modern
purpose-built exhibitions center in Eastern Saudi Arabia with room for extra large exhibits with two exhibition halls. The entire building is fully air-conditioned. An
open exhibition area of 10,000 square meters is also
available without restrictions, adjacent to car parking
facilities for more than 1,000 vehicles.

SAUDI ARABIA ENTRY VISA
All foreign visitors to Saudi Arabia need a valid Entry Visa to the Kingdom. Visas are required for all visitors with the exception of travellers holding a passport
from GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries. Visitors
should obtain the entry Visa from the Saudi Embassy in
their country of residence before traveling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
ACCOMMODATION
Dammam and Al-Khobar offer a number of international-standards hotels and most world chains have a hotel in Dammam / Al-Khobar. However, exhibitors are
recommended to book their reservations at an early
stage by contacting the hotel of their choice directly or
through their travel agent.
