BIBAFOODS Scientific Kick-off Meeting 7 – 8 January 2015,
University of Coimbra, Portugal
The purpose of the scientific kick-off meeting is for all principal investigators, newly recruited
ESRs/ERs, and the administrative assistant of the coordinator to meet in order to initiate direct
personal contact between all BIBAFOODS network members.
The principal investigators will present their institution, their current work in the field and the
respective BIBAFOODS training activities, adjusted to new developments and new knowledge
available at the time of the meeting. BIBAFOODS fellows will present their current plans for future
work. In addition, plans for network-wide training activities and secondments will be presented, as will
outreach activities and information services within the project.
