REST IN PEACE
Helen Carina, mother of Rev. Chester H. Carina, Pastor of Most Holy
Redeemer; and Camille A. Cronin (nee Mignone), mother of Rev.
Msgr. Sylvester Cronin, former associate at St. Ambrose; recently
returned to their eternal reward. May their souls and the souls of

WORLD MARRIAGE DAY — FEBRUARY 8, 2015
St. Ambrose Parish will celebrate World Marriage Day on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the 12 Noon Mass. All couples are
invited to renew their wedding vows at this time. Loving one
another as husband and wife is a daily decision, simple but
challenging. It is an ongoing process of learning about each
other and how to accommodate differences so that both
spouses can feel satisfied and grow in love for each other.
“If you want God to hear your prayers, hear the voice of the
poor. If you wish God to ancipate your wants, provide those
of the needy without waing for them to ask you.” St. Thomas
of Villanova

New Memorials Now Available
In a busy parish like ours, The Mass Book for 2015 has already
been filled. We will open the 2016 Mass Book on Monday January 12, 2015! Many parishioners have come to the office looking
for Masses for their loved ones or friends who have passed. Like
many other parishes, we have decided to add additional memorials in addition to the Bread and Wine and Sanctuary Lamp and
Altar Candles. You may now purchase flowers in memory of your
loved ones. Flower memorials will be as follows:
One large arrangement for the center of the Sanctuary, or two for
either side of the tabernacle for $100. Arrangements for the
Blessed Mother and St. Joseph is $50 each.
In addition, you may also purchase a “Rose for the Unborn” to be
placed at the tabernacle. The intention will read “Rose for the
Unborn” donated in memory of ~ by ~. Therefore this memorial
will have a dual intention. The cost is $10.
We are also in the process of getting Mass cards for the missions. These Masses will be said by missionaries and not here at
St. Ambrose. The stipend for those will be $5. Please call or stop
by the Parish Office if you have any questions or need further
information.
Welcome to all our new and returning Toddler Time
families!! We are happy you are part of this program.
Please note our Winter Session is now full. Keep a look
out for details on our upcoming Spring Session.
