Call to Artists "Inspiration - A Tribute to the Master" A Frank Frazetta inspired group show. The Flower of Life Art Gallery will be hosting "Inspiration - A Tribute to the Master" opening Saturday April 11th 2015. You are invited to create a Frank Frazetta themed artwork for our show in any medium. We are not looking for any copies of Frazetta’s existing work but for each artist to use Franks art and classic characters as Inspiration for their own original creation. Any interested artists should contact us right away to confirm so you can be added to our list of exhibiting participants. We anticipate wall space for this show to fill up quickly so please confirm early to hold your place. If we get more than the anticipated interest in submissions we will have to be more choosy with the art selected for the show. Our sponsor www.frazettagirls.com will be donating Frazetta prints to raffle off. Interest in this show will be high so we must limit it to one (1) submission per artist. We will hold a web based auction at www.floweroflifegallery.com for the artwork with a 70/30 split between the artist and gallery. As usual the art gallery will be donating their share of the proceeds to help our local community, this time we will be raising money for The All Herding Breed Dog Rescue of Illinois. Each artist will have the option to donate part or all of their share to the charity as well. Artist is responsible for shipping and insurance to the gallery. Any unsold art will be shipped back to the artist at the galleries expense. Please package your art well, especially if framed under glass. Artwork will be shipped back in the same box you sent it in. Artwork will be returned after May 10th. Please Note: Deadline for artwork submission is Saturday April 4th, 2015. We ask that you email us images of any finished artwork to [email protected] ASAP so that we can build the auction site and to use in our promotions. There will be a $20 hanging fee charged for each submission that can be paid via Paypal to [email protected] Please send framed and ready to hang by one nail artwork please.
