Set-up for the Tack Swap starts at 8 AM and you must be completely ready to sell before the show starts at 9 AM. Cars and trucks will only be allowed under the arena roof for unloading purposes, so you’ll need to have tables or racks to display your items. AQHA Rule Changes issue #, date The following rule changes are in effect for AQHA Shows in 2015. Only the following rule will be in effect at our CAQHA All Breed Open Shows: Ranch Riding (formerly Ranch Pleasure): Beginning January 2015, Ranch Horse Pleasure is being renamed Ranch Riding. The rules remain the same. The rule below regarding the use of approved helmets in youth English classes is voluntary at our CAQHA Shows. Helmet Rule for Youth Exhibitors: Starting in 2015, youth exhibitors will be required to wear an ASTM/SEI-approved hard hat with harness when competing at any AQHAapproved show in an English class, including flat and overfences classes. The hard hat requirement will be an amendment to Rule SHW320.2 in the Official Handbook of Rules and Regulations. “Exhibitor safety is a paramount concern at AQHA-approved events,” said AQHA President Johne Dobbs of Champaign, Illinois. “This amendment solely affects the youth division, and in so many other sporting events, youth wear safety helmets, so this really is about safety first,” Dobbs added. Because our CAQHA Shows are ALL Breed Open Shows and we do not offer AQHA classes, we will not require youth to wear ASTM/SEI-approved helmets. However, we strongly encourage all exhibitors to wear approved helmets when riding. You will find many of our exhibitors - youth and adults wearing approved helmets in our classes. We welcome cowboy hats and helmets at our CAQHA Shows!! Consectetuer: 4
