you are registering students in a different location. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
(All information listed below is designed to streamline this process-please accept it in that manner)
Greetings! We are sending this information to help all Directors since there is such a short “turn around” after school starts back in
January. You will probably need to make most plans prior to your Holiday Break, especially requesting a check from your bookkeeper.
We are attaching the student Mid-State Rules & Regulations agreement form, general information document, Itinerary/Schedule and
Contact information sheet. Hopefully, this will assist you. Please be sure to contact the appropriate band chair IMMEDIATELY if you
have someone who can’t attend. This will allow the opportunity for the appropriate alternate to be contacted and adjustments to be made.
Please note, the Mid-State Rules & Regulations forms must be signed, completed and accompany your school or band booster check ($30
per participant) at the registration/check-in point. Feel free to print a copy of the Rules & Regulations Form below, fill out your
portion, and then copy the form for your children to avoid filling it out multiple times.
1) Directors (or pre-approved designee) MUST register the students. NO students or parents should enter the registration line!
2) Please have a school, band booster, or personal check for the total amount ($30 per student) to register your students. No parent
checks should be presented!
3) Be sure to have the Mid-State Rules & Regulations forms-properly signed. Students will not be allowed to participate without these
forms.
4) Receipts will be made available for ALL cash payments or if one is needed. Please specify that a receipt is needed when you are
registering your students on site. Provide the appropriate email address so a receipt may be sent to you in PDF format.

MUSIC FOLDERS
All folders will be available via DropBox from each Mid-State Ensemble Coordinator to the email address provided during
the Mid-State registration process. Pending any doubling resolutions, all digital instrument folders will be sent out no
later than December 15th. It is the director’s responsibility to disseminate music to the proper students and it is the student’s
responsibility to bring his/her music to the rehearsal and concert locations. Please note that if you are out of town by the
time the links are sent, you may simply forward these digital instrument folders directly to students to be printed
out.
If you have not heard from your ensemble chairs by December 17th, please consult the emails below.
