The year 2015 has come with great beginnings, our Matriculants have endured hardships for the previous twelve (12) years, some even more than others and toiled every day of their matric days to ensure that they achieve outstanding results, the 2014 matric class maintained the baton given to them by the class of 2013 matriculants and continue to put this District on the map of achievers. Congratulations to Ngaka Modiri Molema District learners, as you have scooped first position with 86.99% pass rate in the Province, re be re akgole le baithuti botlhe ba Bokone Bophirima go tswelela go dira ka thata le gore re bo re bone maemo a bobedi Naga ka Bophara. The District Municipality wishes to acknowledge efforts that Teachers took to ensure such performance and further stands out to congratulate Sannieshof High School; Naauwpoort High School; and Tlamelang Special School for the 100% pass rate achievement. 2|Page I also want to recognise exceptional contribution made by the ANC Government to prioritise rural education and applaud the Onkgopotse Tiro Comprehensive School learners for the 84% pass rate. The Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality will also continue to contribute to the education fraternity as the Municipality is currently reviewing its bursary fund for policy to ensure that these assistance is awarded to the academically deserving students and indigent students from rural communities. In “Building a Responsive, Caring and Accountable Local Government” we are committed to restore hope and dignity to our learners, thus government is implementing “Back to Basics” concepts to “Serve our Communities Better” and our learners are part of that communities.
