Program Overview. San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium Highlights 2014 will summarize the major research and treatment advancements presented at December 2014’s San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium. The faculty will focus on surgical, radiation, and medical oncology treatment modalities and place these developments in context as to their immediate clinical utility. Educational Objectives. At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants should be able to: • Review, summarize, and interpret important clinical results presented at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium for surgical, radiation, and medical oncologists; oncology nurses; and, other health care professionals. • Comprehend and implement changes in surgical, radiological, and medical treatment for breast cancer. Target Audience. San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium Highlights 2014 has been designed to meet the educational needs of oncologists, oncology nurses, oncology pharmacists, and other health care professionals involved in the care of people with breast cancer.
