There are two levels for this position. The selected applicant will be slotted into
the level based on the applicant's qualifications. The two levels are Court Clerk
1 (Current Hiring Salary is $12.694 to $15.867) and Court Clerk 2 (Current
Hiring Salary is $13.750 to $17.188).
Summary of duties: Under supervision process court documents, accurately
receipt and reconcile court fines and fees and provide customer service.
Incumbent may be required to act as jury clerk, back-up court monitor for
district judges and/or site coordinator for our district.
Court Clerk 1 Qualifications:
* A high school diploma or GED.
* One (1) year of experience in a general secretarial or related field.
* Attainment of the Judicial Studies Certificate will substitute for one (1) year of
experience or additional post-secondary education in a related field may
substitute for up to one (1) year of experience. Thirty (30) semester hours
equals one (1) year of experience.
* Ability to use a computer and computer software required.
* Ability to speak Spanish is desirable.
