PERA's conferences or workshops.
The Association's group and individual
programs are all designed to better prepare
you for the day you leave public service. We
schedule these valuable programs at various
locations around Minnesota each year. Please
take a few moments to review our programs
for 2015.

2015 Group and Individual Conferences
PERA Retirement Conferences
There are two ways you can meet with a
PERA retirement counselor to discuss your
future benefits; either at a group conference
or an individual meeting. Both types of
conferences provide you with the same basic
information.
Group conferences allow you to benefit
from the give and take our counselors have
with other program participants—people
just like you who are exploring their retirement options and want to know more about
their PERA benefits. Individual conferences,
designed for members within six months of
retirement, are particularly helpful when
dealing with unique circumstances, such as
disability, divorce, or service under more
than one retirement fund.
In either setting we go over your benefit options, our application procedure
and forms, and show you how to get the
most out of MY PERA, our online member
portal. We'll even make copies of the documents necessary to process your application.
For either type of conference, we ask
that you please register at least two weeks
in advance. This will allow us time to prepare your benefit information prior to the
meeting. You are encouraged to bring your
spouse or other individual you may be naming as your survivor.

PERA's main office is in the Retirement
Systems of Minnesota Building near the corner of Pennsylvania Ave. and Rice St. in St.
Paul. Our Duluth office is in the Medical Arts
Building, 324 West Superior Street, while
our Mankato location is in Mankato Place,
11 Civic Center Plaza. We offer individual
conferences at all three locations and group
conferences at our office in St. Paul.
