2015 Poster/T-Shirt Contest $2,000 First Prize - $500 Second Prize - $250 Third Prize Each year the Allentown Village Society holds a competition to select the official design that will be featured on our marketing materials for our annual Art Festival which includes the printing of our Festival Poster, Show Guide Brochure and the Screen Printing of our T-Shirts. When planning your artwork it is important that you recognize that our judges will be making their decisions based on Quality of Design, Creativity and Orginality of Artwork and Reproducibility in all three formats, Festival Poster, Show Guide Brochure and Screen Printed T-Shirts. Information regarding the design details is sent to all area secondary schools and colleges. Also this information is sent to art supply stores, art galleries, fine artists and graphic artists who are listed in the phone book, previous winners as well as all local newspapers. Saturday, June 13th (large) - 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (smaller) Sunday, June 14th, 2015 (large) - 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (smaller) 3. Produced and Presented by the Allentown Village Society, Inc.(Cultural not-for-profit organization)- (smallest) 4. Buffalo, NY Poster Size: Vertical 14” x 22” Color/Printing: 1 - 6 Spot Colors or Process Color. Other Instructions: Designs must be entirely original. You may submit up to (2) designs. Your name, address and two (2) telephone numbers must be predominantly mounted in a sealed envelope on the back of your entries. If attending a school, please indicate which one. If your artwork is selected and was computer generated you must provide us with a EPS vector file no larger than 30MB created in either Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw along with your hard copy.If your media type is painting, drawing, etc your entry must be camera ready. NOTE: The winning design becomes the “exclusive” property of the Allentown Village Society (AVS). By entering this contest, you are giving the AVS the “exclusive” rights to the use of the winning design and you will transfer ownership for copyright purposes. The winning design will be used on our poster, show guide brochure, T-Shirt or wherever we deem appropriate.
