Taste the Arts Poster Contest The Arts Consortium announces Taste the Arts, 2015—taking place October 17th, 2015 in downtown Visalia – and its third annual Taste the Arts poster design contest. The selected design may be reproduced on posters, t-shirts and other promotional items that will support the festival. As such, judging criteria will include viability of sales potential. Submissions should be originally designed by the artist and thematically related to the arts festival, which celebrates art, culture, and community. How to Enter All Central California artists are invited to submit a poster that embodies the theme of Taste the Arts. No more than one design per artist. Poster Requirements Poster size must be 11” x 17”. Submissions must be submitted in digital media form and be Vector Graphics compatible. Must be original art. IMPORTANT: The finished artwork must include The official font of Taste the Arts* Taste The Arts Street Fair October 17, 2015 Arts Consortium logo* Visit www.tastethearts.net for complete list of events and festivities. o *Digital versions of the font and logo will be emailed to artist. Artist may email [email protected] to request digital versions. Entry Deadline & Delivery Entries should be delivered electronically to the Arts Consortium via email or filling out the form on our website. All entries must be received by: April 21, 2015. Each entry must be labelled in this format: First Name – Last Name – TTAposter. Terms of Agreement The Arts Consortium and Taste the Arts committee reserves the right to accept or reject all work submitted during this competition. The Arts Consortium accepts no liability for damaged or lost art works. Only a limited number of signed copies of the winning poster are available for sale each year. The winning artist will be asked to sign posters. The winning entry becomes the property of the Arts Consortium. The artist releases the copyright of the design image, and Arts Consortium reserves the right to unlimited reproduction and use of the image or parts of the image for arts festival materials and products for sale. Selection Process The winner will be selected by the Taste the Arts Committee, and is subject to the terms of this agreement. Artwork will be judged on the following: Quality of Design Creativity and Originality of the Artwork Reproducibility Notification of Winner The Arts Consortium will announce the winner at its May membership meeting: May 5, 2015 at 5:30pm at 400 N.
