“God make this house of worship we have raised to Thee wide
enough to receive all who need human love, fellowship and the
Father’s care and narrow enough to shut out envy, pride and
hate. Make its threshold smooth that it may be no stumbling
block to childhood weakness or straying feet, but rugged and
strong enough to turn back the tempter’s power. God make
this house of worship the gateway to Thy eternal Kingdom.”

The Preparation for Worship
“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with
thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be
dismayed. And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the
priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the
LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.” Deuteronomy 31:8-9

WORSHIP IN PRAISE
The Opening Hymn of Praise
“Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand”
Time is filled with swift transition, Naught of earth unmoved can
stand, Build your hopes on things eternal, Hold to God’s unchanging
hand.
Trust in Him who will not leave you, Whatsoever years may bring,
If by earthly friends forsaken Still more closely to Him cling.
When your journey is completed, If to God you have been true,
Fair and bright the home in glory Your enraptured soul will view.
Refrain: Hold to God’s unchanging hand, Hold to God’s
unchanging hand; Build your hopes on things eternal, Hold to God’s
unchanging hand

“We Got To Stay Together”
Rev. Jemerson
Text: “Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they
cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. And as
the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let
down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would
have cast anchors out of the foreship, Paul said to the centurion
and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be
saved. Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall
off. And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to
take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried
and continued fasting, having taken nothing.” Acts 27:29-33

THE RESPONSIVE READING Psalm 118:1-10 Rev. Jemerson
Minister:
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because
his mercy endureth for ever. Let Israel now say, that
his mercy endureth for ever. Let the house of Aaron
now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
People:
Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his
mercy endureth for ever. I called upon the LORD
in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a
large place.
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man
do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that
help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that
hate me.
Minister:
People:
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put
confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD
than to put confidence in princes. All nations
compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD
will I destroy them.
Minister:
Let us pray.
