Registration
Online registration is available at SkiReg.com. Mail in registration is available for
US Athletes. Please be timely and have in the post by February 1, 2015. There will
be no race day registration. Race bibs not picked up at the Team Captains Meeting will be
available at the range on race day. Entry fee is $60 USD for all classes except the boys/girls
division. The entry fee for the boys/girls division will be $30 USD. This includes both the Sprint
and Pursuit events. The fee is the same for one or both races.
OTC Housing Requests
There are a limited number of beds available at the Olympic Training Center for this Nor Am.
Rooms will be assigned on a first come - first served basis (2 people to a room). Only
participating athletes, coaches and officials are eligible. Rooms and meals: $45/day US Athletes,
$90 USD for International guests. Housing/meal costs must be paid directly to the Lake Placid
Biathlon Club in US dollars with a check, money order or cash before check in. To reserve space
please use the email below. Anyone staying at the OTC must have a current membership in the
USBA or relevant National Governing Body for his or her country.

Eligibility
If correctly registered and entered by USBA Region or their Canadian Division any member of
USBA or Biathlon Canada in good standing may participate in this event if they have a valid
USBA or Biathlon Canada Competitor membership card. The competitors must be prepared to
show their membership card for the current year at the event registration. USBA membership
forms are available at http://www.usbiathlon.org/forms/membership.pdf The competition is
open to all biathletes 14 years of age or older on the day of the competition. Biathletes, younger
than 15, will need permission to compete, based upon ability to participate safely, from the Chief
of Competition.

Boy/ Girl (15 – 16 years of age as of December 31 of the current biathlon season)
Competitors will not carry a rifle and will shoot only from the prone position at offhand targets
Youth (17 – 18 years of age as of December 31 of the current biathlon season)
Junior (19 – 20 years of age as of December 31 of the current biathlon season)
Men/Women (21 – 39 years of age as of December 31 of the current biathlon season)
Master (40 -49 years of age as of December 31 of the current biathlon season)
Grand Master (50+ years of age as of December 31 of the current biathlon season)

Sanction - As a sanctioned event by the United States Biathlon and Canadian Biathlon
Associations, membership is required for participation.
Rifle Instructions - Canadian citizens must apply for a permit for entry into the USA,

Awards - The first three eligible finishers in each class for each event per NorAm guidelines.
