Benambra angling club fishing comp this weekend.

Swifts Creek Memorial Pool Inc.
Pool News
As many of you would be aware, the pool has been undergoing much needed and major maintenance works of late. These works include:

Retiling sections of the pool

Cleaning and repainting the pool

Installation of hand rails

Renovation works on the existing buildings
These works have been absolutely essential for the pool to open safely for this swimming season, and
we thank you for your patience while they were carried out. We are currently expecting the pool to
be useable by Monday the 19th of January, in time for the second week of Vic Swim. However, the
pool CAN NOT be opened to the public without a qualified lifeguard, who we are expecting to be
trained by the end of January. As soon as the pool can be opened to the public, we will let you
know.
Thankyou to everyone who has volunteered to train as a lifeguard, but we still need a few more people so the course can run. If you are interested, please contact Mary-Anne Sheean (Swifts Creek Memorial Swimming Pool) on 51594457.
We now need people to start paying for memberships, so that we will have sufficient funds to pay for
ongoing pool maintenance, lifeguard training and wages and general costs associated with running
the pool. Please find attached to this newssheet a current membership form.

As the pool can no longer open without a trained lifeguard, the proposed opening hours for the 2015
swimming season on days above 27 degrees are as follows:
Weekdays: 3pm-6pm
Weekends: 1pm-4pm
