But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having won over
the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city,
supposing him to be dead. 20 But while the disciples stood around
him, he got up and entered the city. The next day he went away
with Barnabas to Derbe. 21 After they had preached the gospel to
that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and
to Iconium and to Antioch, 22 strengthening the souls of the
disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying,
“Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”

When they had appointed elders for them in every church,
having prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in
whom they had believed.

They passed through Pisidia and came into Pamphylia. 25 When
they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.

From there they sailed to Antioch, from which they had been
commended to the grace of God for the work that they had
accomplished. 27 When they had arrived and gathered the church
together, they began to report all things that God had done with
them and how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.

And they spent a long time with the disciples.

Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith
by Beth Moore is based on Isaiah 43:10.
This is a ten week interactive study for all women ages 18 to 95. We have two sessions
of Believing God. Wednesday mornings will be led by Judy Howe from 9:00 to 11:00
a.m. in the EEC. The Thursday evening sessions, led by Beth Burton, will be held in the
EEC from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Participant cost will be $20.00.

Soul Keeping (for Men)
In this six-session, video-based Bible Study, bestselling author and pastor John
Ortberg helps us discover what the soul is, why it is important, how to assess the
soul’s health, and how to care for it so that it contributes to the depth and beauty
of our relationship with God and others. We meet Thursday evenings from 6:30 to
8:00 pm, in the Annex Room #101, and is led by Pastor Kirk Sexton.
Release the Mission in You!
Please visit the Mission Table in the courtyard on Sundays to sign up to work
on our 2015 Habitat project, which will kick off on February 7. We are
building with the Presbyterian Coalition, and we will have five work days
throughout winter and spring. Our family is a single Mom, Karina Mendez,
who is committed to having a safer environment for her young daughter. The new home
construction will be at 5228 S. 14th Street in Phoenix (not far from where we have built
homes in the past). Our assigned work days are February 7, March 7, March 21, April 25,
and May 30. Join the fellowship of builders! If you cannot get to the courtyard, please

Mexico Mission Team
Save the date for the next mission trip to Rocky Point, Mexico, April 17-19. All are

Jr. High Girls Movie Night...Girls Movie Night: The rumors are true that I
have never seen the entirety of the movie Frozen so if any girls would like to join myself
and Honi in our first viewing of the movie then please come to the Jr High Room on
January 30th at 6pm for pizza, snacks and hang out to watch Frozen. Frozen is a
