Yin is a simple style of yoga to practice, but this doesn’t
mean easy! The physical, mental, spiritual, emotional
and energetic benefits of yin come from getting into
postures and holding them. These are passive holds where
you allow gravity to do the work. Yin Yoga is a perfect
complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles
of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening
and contracting of your muscles.

CCRR RESOURCES
Referral Service
The Child Care Resource and Referral provides referral
service for families looking for child care. Families are
provided with a choice of Registered ‘Licensed Not
Required’ and a variety of ‘Licensed’ Child Care options.
The referral service will provide names and phone
numbers of child care providers located in the area of
town preferred by the family. Child care programs that
are members of the Child Care Resource and Referral
program benefit from year-round advertisement.
Toy Lending and
Resource Library
kamloopsy.org
The CCRR’s Toy Lending and Resource Library is a
valuable resource for parents, early childhood care,
and education workers, child development support
workers, therapists, teachers, informal caregivers and
recreational programmers. There is a large variety of
materials that will support children’s social, emotional,
physical, language and cognitive development. There
are children’s books that cover a wide range of subjects
and resource books for adults. Resources include
everything from parenting books, child development
texts, specialized topics, and thematic resource books to
name a few. It’s FREE!
WHAT IS CCRR?
CCRR is a program that supports families and Child Care Providers. CCRR helps families find quality Child Care
that suits their individual needs. Finding the right Child Care option can be a tedious and worrisome task. We
assist parents in their search by answering questions and giving them information about what they can look for
in a quality Child Care facility or home.
CCRR helps clients start their own Family Child Care business through training and support services.
CCRR Helping Parents:
• Looking for Child Care
• With subsidy applications
• With toy lending library/resources
• With training and workshops
• Wanting to start a childcare business in their home
• With information on healthy child development
CCRR Helping Caregivers with:
• Training and Workshops
• Toy lending library
• Consultation
• Special Events
• Resource library
• Referrals
• Networking with other Caregivers
• Information about grants and subsidies
Children in high-quality early
childhood programs have been
found to form closer and more secure
attachments with care providers, show
more positive interactions with peers,
have larger vocabularies, and have
better pre-reading and pre-math skills.
Looking for childcare can be stressful;
CCRR can provide families with a list of
potential care providers, resources for
parents to become familiar with the
different child care choices and advice
about choosing quality childcare.
“Care and Early Learning
Can Not Be Seperated”
This equipment will provide your children with hours of fun and healthy
physical development. Check out our Library for more great toys.
• We reserve the right to change schedules. • Fees subject to applicable taxes.
The CCRR encourages and supports
all programs for children to raise
the standards to achieve quality
environments and meet the important
needs of children.
