This Procurement Plan was approved by Department Of Health Services and put in LMD web site after getting No Obiection Letter from World Bank. We would also like to inform that same Medicine was procured by ICB in fiscal year20l l/12. In Fiscal year 2012113, Procurement process was initiated trough ICB method and three parties participated and lowest bidder was nonresponsive because of technical criteria. As per Meeting dated July 24 between WB and Health Secretary about Procurement issues about pending procurement of ICB-36 slice, both parties agreed that quality assurance was in place through WHO prequalification and WB had committed to provide NOL for procuring only through WHO Prequalification. In addition decision of Department Of Health Service (july 30 20 l4) also agreed to procure WHO Prequalified Product based on recommendation made by Family planning Subcommittee. Based on above recommendation, Procurement of WHO Prequalified DMPA was planned and put in Procurement Plan with approval of DoHS and NOL from World Bank.
