Notes for Uzbekistan Visas
British passport holders require a visa for Uzbekistan. If you are not a British passport holder please
check with the your nearest Uzbekistan Embassy. You must obtain your Uzbekistan visa before
departure.
The Uzbekistan government has recently announced that you no longer require a visa authorisation
letter if you are a passport holder of the following countries - Great Britain, USA, Austria, Belgium,
Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Spain, Czech Republic and Switzerland.
If you are a passport holder of a country not listed above please get in touch as we can organise a
visa authorisation letter for you, this usually takes 2 weeks to obtain and should be done at 8 weeks
before departure, for full information please contact Exodus.
You can apply for your visa:


Through Travcour who will apply for the visa on your behalf but there will be a service charge.
They are a very experienced visa agency that Exodus has worked with for many years.
Or directly with the Uzbekistan Embassy on
http://www.uzbekembassy.org/e/visas_for_tourists/
Please apply for 15 days single entry visa, unless you plan to stay longer in Uzbekistan either arriving
before Exodus trip or staying after. The Uzbekistan visa application form will ask for the name of the
inviting party/ travel agent in country please put down our local operator, and also a hotel name:

Asia Adventures, 27/10, office 23, Kunaev str., Tashkent, 100015, Uzbekistan.
Tel/fax: (+998 71) 150 62 80

Hotel Uzbekistan, 45 Musakhanov Street, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Tel no. +998711207777
We suggest that if you work for the government or are a civil servant you put a vague job title on
your employment letter, for example office worker or manager, as in the past certain government
occupations have delayed peoples visa applications.
