Both of the above MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The jobholders will undertake a wide range of tasks, as detailed below, in connection with the processing of visa applications. We are looking for flexible people, who work well in a busy environment. It is extremely important that jobholders are adaptable and show a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks, which will often include some manual work. Good English language skills are required as a minimum and excellent English language skills are desireable. A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team is also essential. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (What will the jobholder be expected to achieve?) Data Entry: To input data from visa application forms onto the in-house software system accurately whilst meeting the daily inputting target To accurately link applications and to stream applications according to in-house software Visa applications are quickly and correctly moved throughout the section: File retrieval and responsibility for filing and weeding of applications 20 To unbox, scan into in-house software and shelve all applications accordingly To prepare completed applications , scan out and box ready for various courier collections Administrative Duties: 20 Messenger duties, distributing files around the section as requested Receive and Despatch duties: Approximate % of time 50 10 To carry out various administrative tasks, such as printing student certificates of acceptance for study To assist the management team and permanent Visa Operational Support Unit staff as required RESOURCES MANAGED (Staff and Expenditure) ASIA PACIFIC OFFICIAL Page | 1 OFFICIAL JOB SPECIFICATION This form is intended as the job description for the position / jobholder. A 5% bonus will be paid on completion of the full contract period. The annual leave entitlement is 1 day per month. Conditioned working hours is 35 hours/ week from Monday to Friday, but there may be a requirement for flexible shift working between 7AM and 7PM.
