This seminar will be conducted by Brendan Navin Siva. Name of Firm / Organisation: _________________________________________ About the Speakers Brendan Navin Siva is a B Ec / LLB graduate of the University of Sydney and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1999. Brendan is the Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Advocacy Training Course of the Bar Council Professional Standards and Development Committee. He has conducted training sessions in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Malacca, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Muar, Alor Setar, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. Brendan was the first Malaysian to be invited by the General Council of the Bar of South Africa to join their international faculty of advocacy trainers for the Advanced Advocacy Training Course at the Wallenberg Centre, Stellenbosch in January 2014. He was also the first Malaysian to be invited by the South Eastern Circuit Bar Mess Foundation to join their international faculty of advocacy trainers for the Advanced International Advocacy Course at Keble College, Oxford in August 2014, and by the Australian Bar Association to join their faculty for the Advanced Trial Advocacy Course in Melbourne in January 2015. Fahri Azzat graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from University of Bristol. He completed the Certificate in Legal Practice, and holds a Diploma in Shariah and Legal Practice from Universiti Teknologi MARA. He was called to the Bar in 1999. He practises in the areas of civil dispute resolution as well as criminal litigation. He is a qualified advocacy trainer.
