Coupus, Robert George David
1966 - 2015
It is with great sadness that the
family of Robert Copus of Spruce
Grove, Alberta announce his passing
on January 9, 2015 at the age of 48
after a short battle with cancer. He
is survived by his wife Leona, his
children, Spencer, Jayden, Ariana
and Colten. His siblings Adam, Penny
and Nathan and his parents George
and Valerie. Memorial service was
held on January 15th at the Spruce
Grove Alliance Church, Alberta.

June 12 1927- January 19 2015
Bee was born & raised in England,
with the exception of a few years in
the US during the second world war,
she remained in England until the
age of 80. Being the enthusiastic
world travelled adventurer she
moved to Westlock to live with her
daughter Candy Keshwani & her
family. She was an exceptionally
intelligent and witty woman; spoke
many languages and never stopped
reading & learning, despite her
lifelong physical afflictions . She loved
Westlock! She found everyone here so kind and thoughtful. She joined the
local poetry group and wrote & had published many Haikus. She had no
regrets of changing country at such a late stage of life because she was
surrounded by children, grandchildren & great grandchildren plus many
animals, books & her precious email with her friends and family across
the world. She was predeceased by her husband, Werner Mortimer, after
almost 50 years of marriage and is survived by her 2 children Nicholas &
Lena Mortimer and Candy & Altaf Keshwani, Her 8 grandchildren and her
10 great grandchildren. She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed .
We wish to thank the staff of Westlock Hospital, her wonderful library and
poetry friends. Gina Innocentes, Gail Biddiscombe and Rita Hermanautz

ELGERT, Norma Rosa (Landals)
July 8, 1932 – January 22, 2015
It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Norma
Rosa Elgert (Landals) with her family
by her side. God opened his arms
and welcomed her home. Norma
leaves to mourn her children: Tom,
Kathy (Mike), Aaron (Lorrie), 2
granddaughters: Mellissa & Brianna,
her sisters: Jean Rombough & Alwyn
Shaw, brother Vern (Chris) Landals
and numerous nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends. Norma was
predeceased by her husband Edward
G., her parents William & Rose Landals, sister Donna, brother Keith, 2
sister-in-laws, 8 brother-in-laws. A special thank you to Dr. DaCunha for
all you did to help Mom, Westlock Dialysis Unit for all the special care and
attention you gave to mom. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday,
January 31st, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Flatbush Community Complex with
interment in the Fawcett Cemetery. Mom always appreciated everything you
did for her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westlock Dialysis
Unit or Alberta Kidney Foundation or charity of one’s choice c/o 10004 –
