Mass for the Presentation of the Lord
There will be an 8:30 a.m. Mass celebrated at
St. Alphonsus on Monday, February 2, for the Feast of the
Presentation of the Lord.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
On Friday, Feb. 6, Adoration will follow the 8:30 a.m. Mass
until 10:00 a.m. On Saturday, Feb. 7, the Rosary will be
prayed at 8:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 8:30 and Adoration until 3:45 p.m. Sign-up in the narthex.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6
8:30 a.m. – First Friday Mass followed by
Eucharistic Adoration until 10:00 a.m.
St. Blaise Day Blessing of the Throats
St. Blaise is the patron saint of throat ailments. On his
feast day, Tuesday, February 3, a blessing of the throats
will be given at the 7:00 p.m. Mass.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7
8:00 a.m. – First Saturday Rosary
8:30 a.m. – First Saturday Mass followed by
Eucharistic Adoration until 3:45 p.m.
4:30 p.m. – Vigil Mass at St. Alphonsus
Palms for Ash Wednesday
Palms from previous Palm Sundays may be dropped off in
the narthex after any Mass from February 1 through the 15.
All donated palms will be used to make the ashes that will
be distributed at our Ash Wednesday Masses this year.

Lector Training II
Lector Training II will be held at St. Alphonsus on Saturday, February 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Breakfast
will be served. This training is for those who attended the
Knights of Columbus Council Meeting
The K of C will hold their council meeting at 7:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, February 4, at St. Alphonsus.
Garden Winter Work
The St. Alphonsus Garden Club will meet on Saturday,
February 14, at 9:15 a.m. to prepare the church grounds for
the Spring. We will trim bushes, weed and do some Spring
planning. No experience necessary. Point of contact is Beth

Annual Divine Mercy Healing Mass
The Divine Mercy Healing Mass will be celebrated by Most
Rev. J. Terry Steib, S.V.D., at 10:30 a.m. on Sat., Feb. 21, at
St. Ann in Bartlett. Confessions will be from 9:00 until 10:15
a.m. with the Rosary at 10:00.
