DID YOU KNOW. . .

!
!
Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.
More than 41,000 blood donations are needed every day.
More than 1.6 million people were diagnosed with cancer last year.
Many of them will need blood, sometimes daily, during their chemotherapy treatment.
A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood.
Please make donor reservations in the narthex, or online by going to www.RedCrossBlood.org. Enter the Sponsor Code
HTLC. Once the site is accessed, set up a brief profile (username, password, etc.). Once registered, you will receive
a confirmation e-mail as well as a reminder e-mail two or three days before the blood drive.
The need is constant. The gratification is instant.
Give blood.

The Health Benefits of Forgiveness
Speaker: The Reverend Mark Beck, Licensed Professional Counselor

There has been formal research into the benefits of being able to deal in a health-giving way with past hurts and

the health and physical benefits of forgiveness. This is a return engagement for this very knowledgeable and
