Every year in January, the Netherlands Section of the Society of Petroleum
Engineers (SPE) hosts the Black Tie Candle Light Dinner Dance. This Gala is
our industry’s leading social and networking event of the year drawing executive
management, senior leaders and engineers from the Dutch offshore oil and gas
industry including oil companies, operators, offshore services suppliers, and
solutions providers.

The annual SPE Black Tie Candle Light Dinner Dance promises to be a memorable evening. We would be
delighted if you were to be our guest and table host for your relations. Subscriptions for company tables are open
now and can be submitted by replying to the invitation email or by approaching either of the committee members.
If you wish to participate individually, we have a limited number of dinner tickets for individual seats available.
This year we offer tables for 10 guests, which allow you to enjoy a splendid 4-course dinner among familiar faces,
accompanied by swinging big band music and spectacular entertainment program. Following our long lasting tradition
of introducing oil and gas students to our industry community, each table will host one student who is to be seated at an
additional chair. We call this arrangement 10+1 company tables.
Our annual dinner is an excellent showcase for sponsors, in addition to being a superb networking opportunity.
