2015 APOGCE supported by Pertamina and SKK Migas
The Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (APOGCE) will be held for the first time in
Bali, Indonesia, this October. An annual event rotating between Indonesia and Australia,
APOGCE has established itself as a premier upstream technical event in the Asia Pacific region,
covering a wide range of technical disciplines.
SPE representatives recently met with Amien Sunaryadi, Chairman of SKK Migas (Special Task
Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities Republic of Indonesia) and Dwi Soetjipto,
President Director and CEO of Pertamina, to formalize both organizations’ support of APOGCE.
Pertamina, Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company, is the Official Sponsor of APOGCE
2015; while SKK Migas, the Indonesian government regulatory body which manages the
country’s upstream oil and gas business, is the Official Supporter of this regional flagship event.
APOGCE in Indonesia is co-organised with IATMI (Society of Indonesian Petroleum
Engineers).
Indicating his support for APOGCE, Dwi Soetjipto, President Director & CEO of Pertamina,
highlighted the importance of producing energy at a lower price and developing synergistic
relationships with various stakeholders involved in the oil and gas upstream industry. Invited to
deliver the keynote address at the opening session, Amien Sunaryadi, Chairman of SKK Migas
indicated that the success of APOGCE over the years is the result of strong collaborative efforts
