1.
PROMOTION DATES
a.
The NewsCenter 16 Bonus Bucks / Big Apple Giveaway (“Promotion”) will begin on Thursday, January 29, 2015
and end Wednesday, February 25, 2015 during NewsCenter 16 @ 5:00, NewsCenter 16 @ 5:30, or NewsCenter
16 @ 6:00 on WNDU-TV.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a.
The Promotion is open to all legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (except NY and FL)
who are at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who live in the following counties: St. Joseph,
Elkhart, LaGrange, LaPorte, Starke, Marshall, Kosciusko, Pulaski, and Fulton in Indiana; and Berrien, Cass, and
Saint Joseph counties in Michigan. Employees of WNDU-TV (the “Station”), its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated
entities, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other broadcasting stations in the
counties listed, and the members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings or children) or households
(whether related or not) are ineligible to participate or win. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal,
state, and local laws and regulations. Void outside the United States, in NY and FL, as applicable, and where
prohibited.
b.
Participants may qualify to win only once during this Sweepstakes. Only one winner permitted per household.
c.
Winners of prizes (and their immediate family members or persons with whom they reside) valued at $150 or
more in other WNDU contests between January 28, 2014 and January 28, 2015 are not eligible.
d.
Participants must have a valid photo ID (driver’s license or other photo ID) to prove compliance with age and
residency requirements before claiming a prize.
e.
Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it
discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the
eligibility requirements, and will also delete any entry as required by law.
f.
Entrants are required to pick up their prize at WNDU-TV.
3.
ENTRY
a.
Watch NewsCenter 16 weekdays between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM for the contest cue (the “Cue to Call”). When
you see the Cue to Call, call the telephone number displayed on the screen and be the caller number designated
in the Cue to Call (the “Designated Caller”). If you are the Designated Caller and meet all eligibility requirements,
you win a daily prize (specified below). The Cue to Call will be issued once each weekday during the contest
period in NewsCenter 16 @ 5:00, 5:30, or 6:00.
b.
The time the Cue to Call airs, the designated caller numbers, and the telephone number may vary throughout the
contest period. WNDU-TV, their affiliates, subsidiaries or agencies will not be responsible for the inability to air
the Cue to Call due to breaking news events, news program preemptions, or equipment failure. WNDU-TV and
affiliates, subsidiaries or agencies will not be responsible for the inability to select winners because of telephone
equipment failure.
c.
Once the winners are qualified, an announcement may be made on NewsCenter 16 notifying viewers of a winner.
d.
The contestant’s name, address, telephone number and age will be verified over the telephone at the time of the
call. A valid picture ID showing name and address will be required to be shown to claim prizes. Valid
identification includes a valid driver’s license or other valid photo ID showing name and address. Faxes will not be
accepted. Photocopies will not be accepted.

4.
PRIZES
a.
The following prizes will be awarded during the 20 days of the contest period:
Daily Prizes: Twenty (20) $160 Notre Dame Federal Credit Union Gift Cards (or the equivalent).
Grand Prize: One (1) trip for two to New York City including the following (travel documents & certificates will be
provided by South Bend International Airport):
Round-trip airfare (coach class) for two via United Airlines from South Bend International Airport to
Newark Liberty International Airport. Tickets may be subject to certain restrictions and availability. Airfare
value $350 each person.
A two-night night stay for two at the Residence Inn Manhattan Central Park, 1717 Broadway, Manhattan,
NY 10019. Room reservation must be made by calling 212-324-3774. Certificate is non-transferable and
redeemed based on availability. Holidays excluded. Blackout dates apply. 2015 Blackout Dates are:
May 15-18, 2015, November 30 – December 1, 2015, December 11 – 13, 2015, December 30, 2015 –
January 2, 2016. Certificate must be presented at time of check in and must be for a Friday, Saturday
and/or Sunday night. Hotel accommodations value: $1200.
One (1) $250 VISA Gift Card to pay for ground transportation and/or other expenses.
b.
There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion,
substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do
not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
c.
Prizes carry no warranties of any type, whether express or implied, except as may be offered by sponsor or
otherwise required by law.
5.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a.
Decisions of Station management with respect to the Promotion are final.
b.
If the Designated Caller cannot meet eligibility requirements, or elects not to participate, calls will be taken in
sequence until a caller meeting the eligibility requirements is identified.
c.
Calls are taken on a single line. Callers on any other station telephone lines or on the designated contest line
before the Cue to Call announcement are ineligible.
d.
Odds of winning depend on the number of participants responding to the cue to call.
e.
If a potential winner fails to complete, sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity
release when claiming a prize, the potential winner will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize.
f.
The grand prize winner will be chosen from among the 20 qualifying daily television winners by random drawing
on Friday, March 6, 2015 or as soon as all daily prize winners have verified that they qualify to participate in the
contest. The winner will be notified by phone and may be showcased in a post-contest winner promotional spot to
air on WNDU-TV.
g.
Unless otherwise specified in the prize notification, all prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of
the Station at the address below. Daily winners will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by March 4,
2015. Grand Prize winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by March 31, 2015.
h.
Unless otherwise specified, grand prize activation date will be March 9, 2015.
i.
WNDU is not obligated to mail or otherwise ship the prize and will not be obligated to disburse prize to anybody
other than the eligible winner.

CONDITIONS

a.
Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners will be required
to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent including the winner’s full Social Security Number for
receipt of any prize valued at $150 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Station in a calendar year with an
aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in disqualification and
forfeiture of the prize.
b.
Participating in the Promotion and acceptance of prize constitutes winner’s and guest’s (where applicable)
permission for the Station or its agents to photograph, film and record each winner, and to use his/her name,
address (city and state), likeness, photograph, voice, biographical information and/or any statements made by
him/her regarding the Promotion or its sponsors for purposes of trade, publicity or promotion without additional
financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to
acceptance of the prize.
c.
Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, and depending on the nature of the prize and eligibility
requirements of the Promotion, the Station in its sole discretion will require verification of Promotion winner’s
identification by a showing of valid government-issued photo identification. By participating and/or accepting a
prize, entrants, winners and guests (if applicable) agree to release and hold harmless the Station, its sponsor(s)
and promotional partner(s), its advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective parent,
subsidiary and affiliated entities, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, representatives,
successors, and assigns of each of them (collectively, the “Released Parties”) harmless against any and all
claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Promotion. The Station will also
require eligible Promotion winners and their guests or travel companions, if any (as well as each of their parent(s)
or legal guardian(s), if winners, guests or travel companions are under the age of majority in their state of
residence), to sign a liability release confirming such consent.
d.
The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person (and all of their entries) from this
Promotion if he or she tampers with the entry process, the operation of the Promotion, or the operation of the
Station’s web channel or is otherwise in violation of the rules. The Station further reserves the right, at its sole
discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion, or any part of it, if it is not capable of
completion as planned or if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond the Station’s control, including
infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, corrupt or
affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion as determined by the
Station in is sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any person to deliberately damage any station web
channel or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws.
Should such an attempt be made, the Station reserves the right to seek full prosecution and/or damages from any
such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Station’s failure to enforce any term of these Official
Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any
competition or prize-related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves
the right, but not the obligation, to modify, terminate, suspend or cancel the Promotion and shall not be required to
award a substitute prize.
e.
The Released Parties are not responsible for (i) typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the
administration of the Promotion, or in the announcement of a prize; (ii) entries not received due to difficulty
accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties, malfunctions, disconnections, other
technological failures, telephone service outages, delays, dropped calls, or busy signals, or any other difficulties
that may prevent an individual from sending or receiving a text message; or (iii) lost, stolen, mangled, misdirected,
postage due, illegible, incomplete, incorrect, or late entries. Further, the Released Parties are not responsible if
any part of a Promotion prize that cannot be awarded due to acts of god, acts of war, natural disasters, weather,
acts of terrorism or other factors beyond the Station’s control.
f.
To obtain a copy of the Official Rules or a list of winners following completion of the Promotion (please specify
which), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope (VT residents may omit return postage) specifying “Official
Rules” or “Winner List” to NewsCenter 16 Bonus Bucks / Big Apple Giveaway Sweepstakes Winner List or Official
Rules Request, WNDU-TV, 54516 State Road 933, South Bend, IN 46637. A copy of the Official Rules and a list
of winners (when complete) are also available during regular business hours at the main studio of WNDU-TV,
54516 State Road 933, South Bend, IN 46637. All such requests must be received within thirty (30) days
following completion of the Promotion.
