MEETING: CCG GOVERNING BODY MEETING IN PUBLIC AGENDA ITEM: 3.1 DATE: 3 FEBRUARY 2015 TITLE: FINANCE AND PERFORMANCE COMMITTEE - SUMMARY FROM: CHRIS BODEN, LAY MEMBER CHAIR FOR: DISCUSSION SECTION: OPERATIONS 1 ISSUE 1.1 The Finance and Performance Committee is a formal sub-committee of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Governing Body. It meets on a monthly basis to monitor finance and performance on behalf of the Governing Body, consider possible risks to future performance, and engender a high performance culture. 1.2 The last meeting of the CCG Finance and Performance Committee was held on 29 January 2015 and a verbal update on any specific issues raised will be given at the Governing Body meeting. 1.3 The approved minutes of the meeting held on 8 January are attached for information. 2 STRATEGIC AIMS/ EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY GOALS AND CCG ASSURANCE FRAMEWORK AND RISK REGISTER REFERENCE 2.1 This report is linked to Strategic Aim 3 (Finance), 5 (Contracts Management & Performance) and 7 (Governance). It is also links to a number of CCG Assurance Framework Risks, F1 – Achievement of Statutory Financial duty; CMT1 – risks to delivery of QIPP and System Reform Plan 2014/15 ; CMP2 – failure to achieve key performance targets and G2 – Risk to on-going development of CCG Governance arrangements. The report also links to EDS Goal 4 – Inclusive leadership at all levels. 3. FINANCE & PERFORMANCE COMMITTEE – MEETING HELD ON 29 JANUARY 2015 3.1 The Chairman will provide a verbal summary of the key issues arising from this meeting at the Governing Body.
