THE PITCH COVER CHALLENGE WHAT IS IT? WHO CAN TAKE PART? The ‘Pitch Cover Challenge’ is a new competition from The Duke of York to find and reward exciting creative talent through a unique opportunity. Anyone! There are no age or professional restrictions for those wishing to take part – the competition is open to all and will be judged on merit alone. This challenge is part of HRH’s Pitch@Palace initiative to connect talented businesses with individuals and businesses who can play a part in accelerating their growth. OK...SO HOW DO I ENTER? WHAT IS PITCH@PALACE? To take part, you’ll need to design a single A5 cover that displays your interpretation of Pitch@Palace and send to [email protected] – or share on social media using the hashtag #pitchatpalace. Pitch@Palace provides a platform for high-potential entrepreneurs to pitch their business to an assembled audience of leading investors, CEOs and mentors. It could be photographic or illustrative, heavily designed or neat and minimal – all that matters is that it conveys the ideals and objectives of the Pitch@Palace initiative in a fresh and exciting way. More information on the event can be found at www.pitchatpalace.com. SO WHAT’S THE DEAL? The deadline for entry is 23rd February – and the winning entry will be selected by The Duke of York. Pitch@Palace 3.0 will be held at St James’s Palace on 23rd March 2015 and will be focused around the impact of Technology and Innovation in the Creative Industries. A high-quality ‘Look Book’ will be prepared for all attendees, containing information on all pitch teams and partners. The challenge offers designers and creatives the chance to showcase their talent by producing the cover for this Look Book. WHAT’S THE PRIZE? The chosen design will be featured, with a full credit, on the cover of the Look Book, and used as a motif throughout (as appropriate) – a fantastic opportunity to showcase your superb talent to an influential entrepreneurial audience. As well as being distributed at the event, the Look Book will also be hosted on The Duke of York and Pitch@Palace websites.
