The Voucher System
 Volunteers obtain a signed voucher
from the organization at the end of
their volunteer time each shift they
volunteer
 If using Memorial Hourly Care,
volunteers submit completed/signed
vouchers to Memorial when picking
up child(ren). Volunteers are not
responsible for payment for
volunteer time
 If using off-post Preschool/Home
Child Care, volunteers submit
completed/signed vouchers to care
provider for their signature.
Volunteers then submit the
completed voucher back to the
organization. A check will be sent
directly to the volunteer.
The Caveats!

per hour per child (current
CYSS rate)
Volunteers must be
approved/registered on VMIS
15 minute travel time to and
from (total of 30 minutes)

member of volunteer’s
immediate family
Vouchers must be submitted
to VSF before the end of the
month
