Benefits of Being An Eagle
The perks of being an Eagle member are
countless. From lifelong friendships to
care for your family, Eagles are always
ready to lend a helping hand and be a
guiding influence in the lives of every
member. Here are some of the benefits
you have access to by being an Eagle:
Memorial Foundation
Since World War II, the Eagles have
offered protection for the families of
members through our Memorial
Foundation. If a member dies while
performing their job or serving their
country, his/her children are eligible to
receive educational grants, medical
benefits, dental benefits, and more.
Eagle Village
A vibrant living community for senior
Eagles is located in beautiful Bradenton,
FL. Just minutes from the white sand
beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, this 26acre complex features 85 singlebedroom units, a library, recreation
center, pool, gym, shuffleboard, and a
three-acre lake.
Local Aerie Amenities
As a member, you have access to more
than 1,500 Aeries across the United
States and Canada. These Aeries offer a
wide array of amenities including
discounted food and drinks, billiards,
darts, dancing, karaoke, card games and
make a perfect venue to gather for
sporting events, banquets and parties!
FOE Affinity Programs
Our efforts to establish a stronger sense
of community include developing great
partnerships with organizations
dedicated to the same ideals and beliefs
as the F.O.E. Eagles currently have
access to exclusive benefits on travel
services, insurance coverages, health
screenings and more - just by being a
member! Each day our Grand Aerie
staff is hard at work building new and
exciting partnerships to add to our list of
member benefits.

From the State Madam President
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Once again the Mid Winter Conference was
a great success. Rich and Kay Scott and all
of their committee people made it a
wonderful fun filled weekend. If you were
not there shame on you. We all learned a lot,
made new friends, and saw some we had not
seen since last year. The money that was
raised and the grants that were received for
our charity was another big boost in our
goal for the year. There were 271 people
registered at the conference, representing 52
Aeries & Auxiliaries. Hopefully next year
we will have even more.
The Wacky Golf Tournament was a site to
behold. Our members are very creative! If
you don’t believe me look there are
pictures! Some of them will make you go
OHHHHHHHHHH-MYYYYYYY!
Grand Madam President Gloria Mason will
be at Crystal River on Wednesday, February
11th and Hamburger Mary's, on Thursday,
Feb 12th. We will then head to Winnie
Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies at
2:00pm. That evening there will be a meet
and greet at Kissimmee #4048. On Friday
we will be heading to Ocala Forest #4216
for dinner and visiting with the folks at the
Aerie and Auxiliary. Saturday morning we
will be at the Charity Walk for the Presidents
Charity. Saturday evening we will be in
Sarasota for their annual Valentine Ball. On
Sunday Gloria will be heading home to the
cold weather and I will be headed to SaraMana for their Anniversary.
Ladies our membership goal is looking like
it may become a reality. Thank you all for
signing new members. Congratulations to
the membership drawing winners your
checks are in the mail!
By the time you have received this we will
have conducted on first Secretary School. I
have no doubt that it will be a great school.
If you missed it please plan to attend an
offering next year.
Thank all of you for the work you are doing
for the Presidents Charity and remember
Together, Everyone, Achieves, More.
Until next month.
