The LWVCNM Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization that may accept tax deductible contributions. 22 EASTERN SANDOVAL COUNTY ARROYO FLOOD CONTROL AUTHORITY The Eastern Sandoval County Arroyo Flood Control Authority (ESCAFCA) was established by the state legislature in 2007 to manage watersheds and flood control in Eastern Sandoval County including areas of Placitas, Bernalillo, and Algodones, and excluding federal and tribal areas, for the benefit and general welfare of the population. The first election was in November 2008. A five-member Board of Directors was elected to staggered six-year terms.
