CTB Secure Testing App IN Chromebook Installation via Admin Console This document is being provided as a courtesy to assist in installation of the CTB Secure Testing App/TDC. This does not imply support will be provided for the Google Apps for Education Admin Console by the CTB Helpdesk. 1. Sign into the Admin Console 2. Select Organizational Unit> Device Management 3. Select Chrome > Device Settings 4. Scroll to Kiosk Applications 5. Single App Kiosk >Allow Single App Kiosk a. This will show options for Manage Kiosk Applications and Auto‐Login to Kiosk App (Note: Auto‐Login allows app to auto launch which can only be done on the day of test if this preference is selected) 6. Select Manage Kiosk Applications a. A dialog window will appear prompting you to search for App in the Chrome Web Store or manually install with an app ID and URL (Specify a Custom App). 7. From this window you will Select Chrome Web Store (Not Specify a Custom App) a. Enter the app id cpembebmpcighaaoecnheikcjfjldbdn, hit ‘Enter’
8. CTB Secure Testing App should appear with the option to ‘Add’ (once added it will populate on right‐hand side of window.) 9. Before Exiting this window, please ensure to Click ‘SAVE’. 10. Once completed, log completely out of Chrome until you are looking at the login screen for the Chromebook. 11. In lower left hand corner, there should be a link for ‘APPS’, a. Click ‘APPS’ and Selected the CTB Secure Testing App. 12. Once the App has been selected it will ask for an activation code. Once the Activation Code has been entered it will take you to Testing Login Screen. a. To Test the Client, username and password are, test. b.
