We are happy to inform you that the 20th Graduation Day will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Open Air Theatre, M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women INSTRUCTIONS Schedule 1. Students reporting time to the respective Department Faculty as per the room list attached 2. Collection of robes 3. Taking the seat at the OAT - 4.00 p.m. - 4.30 p.m. - 5.00 p.m. The convocation is likely to end at 9.00 p.m. Robes Convocation Robes will be supplied in the College. Students should bring Rs.250/- towards payment for robes. Students will have to hand over the robe to get the refund of the caution deposit of Rs.200/-. Visitors Visitors have to take their seats by 5.00 p.m. Seating strictly on a first come first serve basis Each student can bring one visitor only Children below 16 years not allowed Parking Parking facility is available for two-wheelers and four-wheelers at the St. Theresa’s Church, Nungambakkam. Dress Code Students are requested to be dressed either in a Saree or Salwar kameez. Photographs Usage of personal cameras is prohibited. A professional photographer will cover the photograph of every student. Discipline The Graduation Day is a solemn ceremony. Hence audience will have to maintain perfect silence throughout the ceremony. Students will have to remain standing during the procession, till the dignitaries on the dais are seated. Students should refrain from applause while the degrees are conferred. Students should go back to their seats after receiving their degree certificates. Students will remain standing when the procession leaves the OAT when the Graduation Day ceremony is dissolved. Students, parents and visitors are requested to remain in the OAT till the end of the function. Mobile phones are not allowed Absentees Students who are unable to report on time will have to face the disappointment of not receiving their degree certificates at the Graduation Day. Graduates absent for the Graduation Day can collect the degree certificate on 11.03.2015 from the college between 2.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. on producing the IDCard. An authorization letter has to be produced along with the ID-Card if the degree certificate is collected by anyone other than the candidate. Looking forward to have you amidst us once again. PRINCIPAL GRADUATION DAY FOR UG 2011-2014 BATCH PG 2012-2014 BATCH Graduation Day is being held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 5.30 p.m. at Open Air Theatre, M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai Reporting Time: 4.00 p.m. Each student can bring one visitor only Children below 16 not allowed Students to note: 1. Reporting time to the respective departments in allotted rooms in M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women is 4.00 p.m. 2. Student should come dressed in Sarees / Salwar kameez 3. Deposit for Robes to be given to the Robewala Rs.250/4. Robes to be returned to Robewala before leaving the venue and collect the caution deposit of Rs.200/5. Graduates absent for the Graduation Day can collect degree certificate on March 11, 2015 from the college between 2 p.m. and 4. p.m. only.
