Graduands must be seated at the Graduation Square by 9:00 AM. CLEARANCE OF OUTSTANDING FEES FOR PROSPECTIVE GRADUANDS All prospective graduands are advised that it is mandatory to pay all outstanding fees, convocation fee and other financial obligations by Friday 17th October, 2014. Those who will not have met the deadline WILL NOT appear in the graduation list. CONVOCATION, ALUMNI AND GOWN HIRE FEE (Kes) PhD 7,000 Masters 6,000 Post graduate Diploma 5,500 Undergraduate/Diploma 5,500 Payments should be made in any of the following bank accounts by Friday 17th October, 2014. 1. NB: Banking slip will be required when collecting the graduation gown ACADEMIC RECORDS All Graduands are requested to check on the website for name inclusion, name spellings and order of names. Any related queries should be directed to the respective School. No certificate shall be printed with any initials. Any subsequent corrections as a result of negligence by a graduand will be effected at a fee of Kes. 1,000. ACADEMIC ATTIRE Graduands are expected to be in full graduation regalia for both the Rehearsal and the Graduation Ceremony on Thursday 30th October, 2014 and Friday 31st October, 2014 respectively. The hired graduation gown MUST be returned on or before Friday 7th November, 2014 at 5.00 p.m. Any delay in returning the gown will attract a daily charge of Kes. 500. COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES Certificates not collected within three (3) months from the date of graduation will attract a storage fee of Kes. 1,000 per annum or part thereof. Certificates shall be issued only on production of a duly completed clearance form and surrender of the University Student Identity Card.
