Group Exercise Descriptions
BODY SCULPT (s)
Full body resistance workout will tone, strengthen and increase lean muscle everywhere.
BOOT CAMP (c/s)
This military style class is not for the beginner! This class will push you to your limit!
CARDIO/STRENGTH (c/s)
A mix of cardio and strength. During this action packed class participants will rotate
through a variety of strength and cardiovascular stations to challenge the body in every
way.
HARD CORE (s)
Strengthen your abdominal and lower back muscles in this class. Improve core
strength and stability while sculpting the abs you have always wanted.
HIP HOP (c)
The class that allows you to learn all the latest and greatest dance moves choreographed to the hottest hip hop sounds. Develop better coordination, rhythm, flexibility
and most importantly—self-expression! Hip hop dance is a great way to build confidence, self-esteem, and gives you that little bit of “swagger” in your walk!
PILATES (f/s/m/b)
Strengthen and lengthen your deep core muscles through this century old exercise designed by Joseph Pilates.
PIYO (f/s/m/b)
Explore the basics of yoga including introductory sun salutations, postures, and breath
while also engaging in the fundamentals of Pilates. This class offers the best of both
worlds!
R.I.P.P.E.D. (c/s)
The one stop body shock where you will find yourself immediately locked into this
high intensity workout. It combines easy, yet effective cardiovascular routines interlaced with weights, and resistance work. It’s a combination that drives up your endurance and gets your body moving. R-Resistance, I-Intervals, P-Power, P-Plyometrics, EEndurance, and D-Diet.
STEP INTERVAL (c/s)
This class is for participants who love to sweat and enjoy intricate moves on the step
with intervals of floor work. What a workout!
TREAD & SHRED (c/s)**
FREE FOR FEBRUARY! (New Tread/Shred Clients Only)
Tread & Shred is a total body workout based on the idea that high intensity interval
training is the best way to burn fat and calories quickly. By alternating between cardio
work on top-quality treadmills and incorporating functional weight-training, you'll increase muscle and burn calories in a fun, fast-paced workout tailored to your fitness
level and your goals.
T&S is for everyone. You select your weights; you set your pace on the treadmill.
Walkers, joggers and hardcore runners are all welcome in class. Our approach to exercise keeps your body burning calories long after your workout is over!
YOGA (f/m/b)
This class is based on Hatha and Vinyasa methods of yoga. Each session will combine
breath-synchronized flowing movements, and static poses that focus on alignment.
This class focuses on improving flexibility and building strength while developing a
strong body-mind-spirit connection by emphasizing the flow of breath. All levels welcome!
