Pastoral Planning and Disciples In Mission
Lent is upon us and our faith development series is in full
swing! This coming Friday February 27th, St. Brendan
Parish will be holding a Eucharistic Holy Hour at 6:30PM.
If you have never experienced the exposition of the
Blessed Sacrament, I warmly encourage you to come out
and enjoy some time of quiet in the presence of Christ in
the Eucharist. Making the Eucharist visible and available
for prayer is a way of “pausing” and prolonging that moment in the Mass when we offer thanks and adoration for
Christ coming among us. Though we see only what appears to be simple bread, the gift of faith enables us to
trust that, beyond appearances, Christ is truly and wholly
present in the Eucharist. The evening will include a brief
talk on what it means to have faith and difference between
seeing and believing. I hope you can make it!
Blessings,
Father Tom
