Choose an evening gown that is appropriate for your age and personal style.
The skirt may be full or straight. For floor length gowns, your shoes should not
show when you are standing still. Hi-low gowns are allowed (shorter in front,
longer in back). Trains are allowed, and gowns may be embellished with
beads, sequins, pearls or rhinestones. The cost of the gown is not taken into
consideration. Choose a gown that makes you feel like a queen!
Judging will be based on fit and appropriateness of gown, eye contact, poise
and confidence, smile and general impression.
You will be interviewed by a panel of judges, who will be sitting at one table.
You will sit in a chair a few feet from the judges. Questions will be based
largely on the information provided by you on your registration form/
application, although additional questions may be asked. There will be no
political, religious or current events questions. Wear a suit or dress of your
choosing, similar to something you would wear for a job interview. Slight
embellishment is allowed, but heavy stoning is discouraged. Interviews will be
3 minutes long. This is your chance to shine and let the judges get to know
your personality! Interviews will be 2 1/2 minutes.
Judging will be based on articulate speaking ability, confidence, eye contact,
substance of responses, appropriate use of vocabulary, and general
conversational ability.
Choose a fun, fashionable outfit that shows your personal style. You may
select a fun cocktail dress, a colorful hi-low gown, a sporty New York vogue
style outfit with accessories (hairpieces, hats, etc.), or anything else that shows

Judging will be based on creativity, poise and confidence, appropriateness of
outfit, general appeal, and overall impression.
Each contestant should wear a short white dress for opening production number. You may have a slight amount of gold or
silver on the dress, and wear white, taupe, silver or gold shoes.










The contestant who sells the most ad pages over 5 pages will receive the Cover Girl (formerly Miss Spirit) international title.
Winners receive the same national crown, rhinestoned sash, and scepter as the national queens. See the forms pages in this
packet for ad page outlines and prices. Approach your local businesses and ask them to sponsor the pageant with tax deductible
advertising to be printed in the full color program books and distributed at the national pageant. All contestants will receive 25%
of your advertising money back to be used for entry fees, outfits, lodging, travel or any other costs as you see fit. Our advertising
prices are very reasonable, helping you to be successful in your quest for the International Cover Girl title!

has already been claimed for your division, you may

There is no extra fee to be considered for these awards (except the optional Program Cover contest). Wear your crown, sash

The winners of the following optional International titles will be awarded to those
contestants who choose to enter them:

One International Print Model title in each pageant (3-12 and 13+). This is an overall
title for the person who scores the highest in Photogenic. Submit an electronic high
resolution photo of your choice to [email protected]. First photo
is $25; additional photos are $15.00 each. All photos will be judged, but only your
highest scoring photo will be used for the International Print Model title.

One International Runway Model title in each pageant (3-12 and 13+). This is an
overall title for the person who scores the highest in Evening Gown. The fee to enter
this competition is $25.00.
One International Supermodel title in each pageant (3-12 and 13+). This is an overall
title for the person who scores the highest in Fashion Wear. The fee to enter this
competition is $25.00.


One International Role Model title in each pageant (3-12 and 13+). This is an overall
title for the person who scores the highest in a submitted essay describing their most
rewarding/memorable volunteer activity. Essays should be contained to one singlespaced page. The fee to enter this competition is $25.00.
THESE COMPETITIONS ARE OPTIONAL AND HAVE NO BEARING ON THE OUTCOME OF THE
PAGEANT. Winners will be crowned at the pageant Finals on Sunday. Only one
International Model title will be awarded per person (these will not be double crowned
with each other). If a person wins more than one of the optional Model titles, we will
award them in this order: the first title to be pulled will be International Supermodel.
Next is International Runway Model, then International Print Model, and then
International Role Model. Winners receive the custom tiara shown below, and an
embroidered sash. These titles may not be double crowned with the queens titles at the
Finals on Sunday (i.e. if you win queen for your division, you are pulled from consideration
for the International Model titles). Photos and essays must be submitted by March 15,
2015, and they will be judged by a separate panel of judges in advance of the pageant.

MODEL TIARA
Our Most Beautiful Mom contest is one of
the most fun parts of our free party,
which is held Saturday night after the
Awards Dinner. Contestants bring their
moms on stage and introduce them, and
then they take a short walk and pose.
Judges select the winner, who is crowned
the Most Beautiful Mom! This is a lighthearted, relaxing and fun contest that has
no bearing on the pageant outcome.
Wear your crown, sash and tshirt to the
Awards Dinner and party. A group photo
will be taken!
Contestants are encouraged to enter the Worst Model contest, where
they get on stage and model in the worst way possible, doing things they
would never really do in competition. A winner is selected and crowned
“Best Model.”
Yes, men get in on the action too! Adult
dads, brothers, husbands, significant
others are welcome to strut their stuff on
stage. At the end of the competition,
one man is selected as our International
Most Handsome Man!
Contestants tell us this is one of their favorite activities for Miss
Royalty International.
Embellish your custom logo t-shirt before the International
pageant! Be creative….add fabrics, beads, rhinestones, bows,
anything that suits your fancy!
Judging will be held at the Awards Dinner, and winners will be
announced at the party on Saturday night. This contest is free.

Deadline for registration form, full payment of entry
fee, program book photo, ads and all other papers is:
March 1, 2015.
We are taking applicants now, and the sooner you
enter, the sooner you will receive your local/state title
and can begin making appearances. For those who
enter on or near March 1, 2015, your local/state title
will be given to you at pageant registration (our sash
maker needs time to make the custom sashes).
Email a high resolution (300 dpi if possible) headshot
photo to [email protected]. This
photo will be used in the program book for your
contestant photo.
Please also list any sponsors on your registration form
so we know to give them credit under your contestant
photo. Sponsors are local businesses who help you by
donating money but do not purchase actual
advertising in the program book.
There is a family discount for those who have 2 or
more contestants entered in the pageant. The oldest
contestant pays full price, and the second contestant
pays $225.00. We cannot discount the items that are
included with your entry fee, as we must pay full price
for those items (local/state crown, sash, tshirt,
Awards Dinner tickets, etc.)
For every referral that lists your name on the Referral
line of their entry form when they enter the pageant,
you will receive a $25 credit off of your entry fees.
Referrals must be people who have not already been
in contact with us through various forms of
communication, and may not be already listed as our
facebook friend.
This makes it a little easier for siblings to compete!

Gold tickets are for preferred seating at the
front of the ballroom by the runway. Gold
tickets are $20.00 for adults and $7.00 each for
children 4-12. Children 0-3 are free and should
not take up their own seat. If you want them to
sit on their own seat (not on your lap), then a
child ticket must be purchased. Regular seating
tickets are $15.00 for adults, $7.00 for children
4-12. If you wish to upgrade your included
regular adult ticket, you may upgrade it to gold
seating for $5.00.

1. Judges decisions are final.
2. Contestant must never have, nor will she during her reign, pose for any photography, video or film, associated with
nudity or pornography.
3. Any contestant or family member showing unsportsmanlike conduct may be immediately disqualified without refund
of fees paid.
4. Contestant will permit Miss Royalty International the right to use contestant’s photographs and video for publicity
purposes.
5. Contestant agrees to attend the International pageant or forfeit all money paid. Deposits and fees paid are not
refundable for any reason.
6. Contestant will compete in the age division that matches their age as of the first day of the International pageant.
There are no fallback dates.
7. Contestant will adhere to all deadlines referenced in the paperwork.
8. Contestant agrees to conduct herself at all times in a manner consistent with the highest moral and ethical values.
9. Miss Royalty International is not responsible for any items that are lost, stolen or damaged at the pageant or in the
dressing room.
10. Contestants and families will not engage in conversation with the judges at any time until after final crowning.
11. If the pageant is not held for any reason, Contestant will receive a full refund of their entry fee, except for the $80 in
merchandise already received (local/state tiara, sash and tshirt).
12. We respect all of our contestants and we expect you to treat each other in a friendly manner and with dignity and
respect. Miss Royalty International is known as a pageant that treats every contestant equally well, and we are
proud of our reputation of bringing quality young ladies together for healthy competition and fun memories.
13. All children under the age of 18 are to be accompanied by an adult at all times. When they are with our staff (for
example, for closed rehearsals and interviews), we will not release them from rehearsals or interviews to anyone
except their parents. Please make sure you are nearby to collect your children after all events.

Please set up your own advertising pages; we are not able
to do the work for multiple contestants. Email the pages
to [email protected], preferably in
Word, Microsoft Publisher or jpg format. DO NOT SEND
IN PDF FORMAT.
The program book is a magazine quality, vibrant full color
publication. Ad pages should be in color if possible.
Ask your advertiser for camera ready ad copy if possible.
If the advertiser does not have camera ready ad copy,
have them submit a business card, depiction of their logo,
a brochure or any other quality images and text they may
have available. We will do our best to set up a quality
advertisement for them if necessary. If you set up the ad
pages yourself, leave room as shown above to put your
photo somewhere on the ad pages, if possible.
Sometimes that is not possible.

The contestant with the most ad pages over 5 will win our
coveted Cover Girl title. If there is a tie in the number of
ad pages between two contestants, the tie will be broken
by the most dollars in ad sales.
If a contestant who has won the Cover Girl title also ends
up winning their divisional Queen title, then the Cover GIrl
title will go to the person with the next highest ad sales
over 5 pages. If no one else has sold 5 ad pages, the
Cover Girl title will not be awarded. There is no double
crowning. The Cover Girl title is an “insurance” title in
case one would not win their Queen title.
The following pages include tips for advertising, as well as
recordkeeping forms, receipts, credit card forms, Ad
Record forms, etc.
It is not required that you sell advertising to participate in
the pageant. This is an optional contest.

FINALS/CROWNING TICKETS
Each contestant receives one Regular Adult Finals/Crowning ticket for a guest (the contestant does not
require a ticket) to attend all competitions and Finals/Crowning. If you wish to have others attend Finals/
Crowning, tickets will have to be purchased. There is a preferred Gold Seating section in the ballroom near
the front and middle of the stage. These tickets are $20.00 for Adults and $7.00 for children 4-12. Children
3 and under are free. Regular Adult tickets are $15.00 and Regular Child tickets are $7.00 for children 4-12.
If you wish to upgrade your included Regular Adult ticket, the fee is $5.00. Please indicate the breakdown of
