The rain date will be April 4th. Get your flash lights and baskets ready now; you don’t want to miss out!! Everyone will meet at the church, exact time will be determined at a later date. EARLY CHILDHOOD EGG HUNT The Easter Egg Hunt for ages 6 and under will be on Saturday, April 4th @ 10:30am. We are asking our church family to help prepare for this event by donating prefilled, plastic eggs. Eggs can be filled with any type of individually wrapped soft candy and placed in the donation bin near the early childhood check in area. Thanks so much! SHUT-IN MEALS Meals are prepared once a month for our shut-ins. If you would like to prepare a meal please contact Angie Hardison (770-466-1283). BABY DEDICATION! A Baby Dedication service will be held on Sunday evening, March 22nd at 6PM. All church family is invited to attend. JESUS’ PLACE Starting on March 8th and continuing until March 29th, we will be collecting men’s jeans and socks for Jesus’ Place. Jeans can be new or used (in good condition). All sizes are needed. Donations can be placed in the blue bin in the welcome area. MEETINGS Buildings and Grounds – Wednesday, March 18th after the evening meal. Cemetery Committee – Saturday, March 28th @9:30am in Founders Hall. LOCAL TEEN RETREAT This retreat is planned for March 20th–21st and is for Middle and High School students (7th -12th grades). It will be an equal mix of fun, Bible study, and service projects. We will be staying in local host homes on Friday night, then serving our communities Saturday. Kaden is Anna and David Ellis’ grandson and Kristie’s son. Please continue to encourage Kaden in his walk with the Lord. OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES PINE STREET – A group prepares a meal here at the MARCH ADULT DAY TRIP th This trip has been changed to Friday, March 27 . The group will be traveling to the National Infantry Museum. The cost is $11 plus your meal. Sign up with Sandra Elzey (770-477-2398) or Ramona Wilson(770-728-0097). APRIL ADULT DAY TRIP Tickets are available for the April 23rd trip to see, “My Fair Lady,” at the Georgia Ensemble Theatre. Sign up with Ramona Wilson to reserve your spot. The cost is $20 plus your meal at Olive Garden. ADULT GAME NIGHT church and then delivers and serves the meal to this Atlanta mission the second Friday of each month. They depart around 5pm from the church. To volunteer, contact Derrick Jones @ 770-554-0102. JESUS PLACE – Volunteers share in a time of worship at this Atlanta mission on the second Sunday of each month. They also stay and help distribute items to those in need following the service. He weighed in at 7lbs and 12 oz. The proud parents are Nicholas and Mindy. The great grandparents are Steve and Sandra Elzey. A men’s and co-ed league will start the first week in April. Services were held at Corinth on March 3rd. Ms. VanLear was a member at Corinth. Her sister is Doris McCarty and she is part of the Needham family. Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday, March 7th. Dot Irvin passed away recently. She is Ann Brewer’s sister. Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 28 th. This outreach is ongoing year round. Items are continually being collected and can be left in the camouflage box located on the Sunday school hallway. Jack Steward handles getting these items shipped to our servicemen and women. The following items are always needed: Toilet paper, Raisin (snack packs), Vienna sausage, Hard candy, Ramen Noodles.
